This past weekend I turned 17 weeks. We went to visit Rusty's old childhood friend and his wife in Dallas, TX. It was such a great time. We stayed at their families lake house. The weather was perfect with highs in the 70's. We ate, rested, read, and ate some more. It was a much needed time away. We loved being with you Chad and Erin. Thank you so much for loving us so well!

| So as we celebrated 17 weeks and taking our 17 week picture, Rusty decided that we needed to "change things up a bit." Imagine that... my husband wants to be different. :) He decided that he would add his own touch to show the baby bump. |
We had our appointment at the doctors last Friday. The heart beat was 166 beats a minute. Such a strong heart. We go for our 20 week ultrasound in a couple of weeks. We are praying for the Lord to guide our thoughts, hearts, and mind as we prepare for that special day. We still are waiting to find out the sex when the baby is born. We can't wait to meet him or her!
